Join Us for Pleasanton Foothill Little League Opening Day

Original post made by Mindy Long, Lydiksen Elementary School, on Feb 29, 2016

Spring is in the air and for Pleasanton Foothill Little League (PFLL) that means it’s time to play ball! PFLL will be kicking off the 2016 baseball season with a grand celebration as hundreds of Pleasanton little leaguers take the field for the first time. Come join in the fun, watch Pleasanton VIPs throw out the first pitch and help the PFLL Tee-ballers sing “Take me out to the ball game!”

The opening ceremony will take place at Bernal Sports Park on Saturday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Games will take place following the ceremony

PFLL is a non-profit organization operated by dedicated volunteers whose mission is to provide an environment that fosters positive sportsmanship, leadership and discipline in the children of our community, while having fun, learning and participating in the game of baseball.

The League provides a youth baseball program for children ages 5 through 18, and operates under a charter granted annually by Little League. More than 150 adult volunteers create an enjoyable sporting and learning experience for over 500 Little League players residing in Pleasanton, California.
