Myth vs Fact Day 3

Myth - I signed the form and now have found out I was not told the truth about the referendum, but it's too late.

Fact - You can legally withdraw your signature up until Friday February 5th at 5:00 PM by filling out a form and submitting it to the Pleasanton City Clerk. The form is located on the website www.protectpleasantonneighborhoods.com

They are not building on ridges and hillsides. Who you would protect, perhaps without realizing it, are the people already living on ridges and hillsides.

Hi Kathleen,

Please visit www.savepleasantonhillsides.com to better understand the broader impact and implications to the city of Pleasanton. It is important to ensure that Measure PP is strengthened (and not diluted as would be the case if this project goes through as currently planned). A strong PP will not only help prevent development on slopes and hillsides but will also help limit growth in an already-too-crowded and congested city thereby benefiting all residents.

@ Kathleen - EXACTLY! Everyone behind the "hillsides" group lives in the hillsides. Ironic, huh?

This is just a wealthy neighborhood trying to divert traffic around Mission Hills Park.

I'm not signing.
