Pipe Bomb at Amador

Original post made by Just Curious, Amador Valley High School, on Jan 17, 2016

I have heard recent rumblings at my kids grammar school that there was a pipe bomb at Amador High School recently. One of my co-workers confirmed this and said that they sent home an email about the incident and said that one child was injured, although it was pretty vague and his kids didn't know much about it.

My question is, how is the PUSD able to keep this information out of the news? This seems to me like a pretty serious incident and it just gets quietly swept under the rug?

I was just hoping that someone with some knowledge of the incident could explain why this is not a bigger deal.

Good point, people need to know. Sounds serious enough to me.

You mean the one the Pleasanton Weekly wrote about on January 5, after the principal sent out an email to inform the community? This one: Web Link ?

Yeah, shame on the Weekly and PUSD for you not paying attention to what's going on around you...

Thanks Consumer. I had done a search but hadn't seen that story. You are the superior Pleasanton resident.
