Google, GM/Lyft and others can do self driving cars on uncontrolled freeways, why can't we have self driving BART trains (like Sweden) and save $$$ ? Train operators remind me of how it took 20 years to get FasTrak going and retire an army of toll takers.

Only in socialist Bay Area do rates go up when the economy is growing at less than 2%. Water rates are going up 31.5%, garage rates increasing all to feed unions and pensions.

Anytime we choose to eliminate the lock the various unions have on jobs, salaries, benefits, pensions, and politicians, we can elect a set of representatives with backbones that are interested in furthering efficiency and making infrastructure work, as opposed to their own reelections.

Most inefficient transit system I have ever ridden on and the fares and parking fees keep going up and the poor excuses keep getting more far fetched!!! Where are our new cars and what happened to the Livermore station, why are they selling Bart property that we bought for parking and turning it into condos?? Maybe Livermore should quit paying into Bart maybe that would get somebody's attention??? Easy for all the cry babies to blame it on the unions, how about starting at the top, who made all the bad decisions over all these years that wide open checkbook only hurt the rest of us, I'm betting the big shots don't even have to ride Bart.
