House passes Swalwell's terrorism-tracking bill

Original post made on Dec 29, 2015

The House of Representatives unanimously approved a bill co-sponsored by local U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Dublin) that calls for greater oversight by Congress on how national intelligence officials track foreign fighters who travel to and from terrorist safe havens abroad.

Hey, Congressman, rather than merely tracking "foreign fighters" out of and into the USA, what if we keep them out? Also, what about the threat from illegal alien criminals -- why do you seem to be unconcerned by that? Finally, do we really need new legislation to protect our country from this threat, or is this just a "look-what-I'm-doing" opportunity for Congress?

"the director of national intelligence"!!? That term is an oxymoron! The current administration isn't doing anything new to protect Americans from "foreign invaders". Keep the foreign illegal invaders OUT!

My dictionary gives the definition of Illegal, why does congress not read a simple book in alphabetic order? Try it!

Anyone need me to copy and past it here?

I went through all the hops to come to USA legally, why does this not apply to everyone? Why just track? just keep them out! We only track a very small percentage now, do you really need to add more you can't track?
I suggest you modify the legislation.
