James Tong/Charter Properties $3 million felony fraud scheme

Original post made by Soundbite for Lund ranch referendum and city council recall, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Dec 18, 2015

Recall that Jerry Thorne, Jenniferr Hosterman, Cheryl Cook-Kallio --- Oak Grove and James Tong supporters as well as Kathy Narum and Jerry Pentin formed a James Tong backed PAC to prevent signatures from being collected for the Oak Grove referendum and Measure PP. The three above council members then put forth Measure QQ a fake countermeasure to defeat Measure PP.

Today the Attorney General and the state Fish and Game agency announced that James Tong pleaded no contest to a felony fraud scheme . James Tong provided forged receipts totaling over $3 million to the city of Dublin claiming he had paid endangered species related mitigation fees to the Fish / Game agency when in fact he had not.

What excellent work those investigators did in the 2 and a half year investigation.

I wonder how our city council and mayors (Tom Pico was a consultant hired by Marti Inderbitzen and James Tong to push for the approval of Oak Grove) could be so gullible. Corruption at its worst.
