Special school board meeting tonight to hear about search for new superintendent

Pleasanton's school board will hold a public meeting tonight to hear an update from a consulting firm it hired to search for a new superintendent.

This impacts students and parents, and many others. The decision should be more transparent. There should be a survey of everyone who remotely has any interest in this.

Damn board has shown they cant make a decision on its own. We need a survey on this.

I'd like to apologize for my earlier post. As someone who didn't run for the board, and didn't volunteer my time, I should look for a more appropriate way to get my point across. I really need to re-think my use of social media. I'm just not cut out for it.

I just hope that if the board doesn't get the ideal candidate, they have the guts to ask Jim Hansen to stay for another year and will conduct a second search. Don't accept anything less than a first rate candidate this community deserves!!
