Lund Ranch - Recalling City Council and Mayor if they violate Measure PP

Original post made by Question, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Nov 30, 2015

Does anyone know the number of official registered voters that need to sign a recall petition so we can recall all local officials who violate the law and trample of the rights of the voters of Pleasanton who all voted in favor of Measure PP? These elected official that ignore the local voters are also those that ignore federal law so they become so-called 'sanctuary' cities.

I'm not a fan of ballot box policy making, but when the elected officials failed to carry out their responsibilities and develop a ridgeline preservation ordinance for over 10 years, that is completely unacceptable. And now they are saying they can develop out of the blue loopholes to nullify what we voted to approve? Appalling.

Local official that ignore the law must be purged from office.

Kathleen Ruegsegger is a registered user.

This took less time to find than it took to post your question, I'm certain: Web Link

It cites code so you can dig deeper. I believe the number of registered voters is likely on the county registra's site.
