Pleasanton police investigate Veterans Day groping incident

Pleasanton police seek the public's help in identifying a man accused of groping a woman as she jogged at Ken Mercer Sports Park on Wednesday evening.

A reminder that police don't provide personal protection, they can only arrest someone after the crime has been committed.

It's also tough to outrun an attacker that's likely well rested and could sprint far enough to catch you.

If you can't fight off an attacker, jog with someone else or carry a weapon (or both).
