Tri-Valley Heroes: Saving lawns, drinking water

When Dan and Rosalie Gallagher came up with the idea for the Dublin San Ramon Services District to offer free recycled water to residents and businesses for landscaping, they were as concerned with saving the people in the Tri-Valley as they were with protecting the plants

Thanks Dan and Rosalie Gallagher for hatching the idea of offering residents use recycled water from the treatment plant. Also for not taking NO for an answer when being questioned by the regulators.
Kudos also to Sandy Olsen's team of friendly employees who instruct residents in the handling and use of recycled water and for keeping traffic moving efficiently and safely.
A big thanks also to the engineers and technicians who had to continually improvise ways of adding more fill stations and accommodating more and more vehicles in a limited amount of space.
Very impressive feat for all involved.
This is one for the history books, and you guys made made it all possible.
