The Pleasanton school district is running on fume and relying on a reputation that does not depict accurately the current situation. This is not a teacher friendly district. There will be three seats on the school board up for grabs in November 2016. The current boardmembers are out of touch. People are leaving PUSD because it's not a pleasant environment. Many administrators are incompetent and should be retrained or let go. Teacher retention should take precedence over retaining administrators.
