Amador got out played and out coached last night. I think its time to clear house at Amador and get some real coaches their. I dont Think hiring a 26 year old kid is gonna do the job. They need a real coaching search not a hand picked replacement who is still wearing diapers.

To PWNFYA:

I don't think "clear(ing) house" is needed. If you saw the game, you saw that Foothill has a clearly better team this year. Even with that being said, AV played Foothill even in the second half, and if it wasn't for an AV fumble (deep in their own territory) and a dropped pass just before the half, it could have been much closer. That was a 14 to 21 point swing, the score could easily have been 21-7 at the half, instead of 28-0. Luck was not on AV's side.

But this is high school football, not the college or pros, so we don't need to fire and replace a coach because they haven't won enough. They have real coaches there, and in fact AV beat Foothill last year. It is far more important that good values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, integrity and the like are being taught, then clearing house and getting a new coaching staff. This is HIGH SCHOOL football, and not in Texas, where high school football is more important than God. I'd like to think that we have a bit more perspective in Pleasanton, where winning or losing the big game is, in the end, not that big a deal.
