Same guy?? Wow, he's a lousy burglar, he ought to try a different line of work, and pick something more honest while he's at it.
I'll bet his family is proud of him.

Why are they out of jail and are they illegal?

Jerry,
Why did you feel the need to bring up whether they are legal citizens or not? Shaking my head...

Because if they are illegal they should not be here to commit the crimes. Pretty simple to understand I believe. Try to live in Canada or Mexico illegally and see what happens.

This news story has absolutely nothing to do with whether they are legal citizens or not. These two committed a terrible crime and should be punished for it. End of story.

Unfortunately it is not the end of the story but I am sure you would like it to be. Unfortunately I would bet that one or both are illegal and should not be here and I am sure won't be much longer.

Wait, maybe he was having a mental break. He is not responsible for these break ins. The police failed to detect this individual was having a mental break and they made it worse!

What's sad is once these losers get out of prison they will go right back to burglarizing houses again.

Does society actually think these guys would get a job and stop hurting other people because their life's suck? Doubtful...

And then they break into the home of a supporter of the 2nd amendment, end of career. Like the gentleman (hero) in El Cerrito that shot the intruder in the face.

"Wait, maybe he was having a mental break. He is not responsible for these break ins. The police failed to detect this individual was having a mental break and they made it worse!"

Too funny! Of course they should not be held accountable for their actions if they were drunk, on drugs, mentally incompetent or just plain stupid. Oh please break into my house next time. I have a brand new box of bullets and have been to the range target shooting. You can be my new targets.

Bet their on probation for burglary, hmmmm. But let's not worry about them being here illegally. Minute they crossed the boarder without going through the proper channels they were criminals.

Got an alert from the PPD via Nixle that there was police activity in the Laurel Creek area this morning.

Sure glad we built that Bart stations at the mall.....

Why does this town allow individuals to loiter in mass around Home Depot and the surrounding businesses. I recognize that they are not Downtown Businesses. I think they should go. Should be an ordinance against it.

Once these guys make bail they are gone, long gone. Then of course this is not a "violent crime" so there will be no attempt whatsoever to find them. After an interim (I would guess a few months before the file gets moved to the back of the stack) these friends of San Francisco will emerge again committing another crime. Now, let's have a show of hands: how many of you think this is the first time these oppressed young gentleman have committed a felony of any kind ?

wow, the guy hurts a senior the last time he was caught burglarizing a home. only a year later he is caught again, same scenario with someone in the home.

build more prisons. longer sentences. yes it is a sad indictment of our society but that is where we are at right now people

Run out of the house and call 911!!?? She should have pulled out her pistols/rifles/shotguns and gone down there guns a-blazing and killed the intruders! Isn't that what we're supposed to do?

... leave it at great job PPD and homeowner? No facts about citizenship, or lack thereof. No facts about mental health. The homeowner's 2nd amendment right includes not bearing arms and shooting the intruders in the face. HO did the right thing. Bad guys caught. PPD did a great job. End of story.
