Independent report comissioned by Geregos shows no drugs in John Deming

Original post made by Registered Joe, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Sep 10, 2015

In the news...this is from the report from an "independent" forensic toxicologist hired by the family's attorney, Geregos & Geregos. No drugs found. Doesn't explain why John Deming was acting irrationally. Drugs or not, it's his actions that brought his problems that night and the resulting actions of the police.

I use the word "independent" in quotes because although that's the term used, implying no bias whatsoever, a forensic toxicologist is hardly independent if he's being paid.

Why does the PW seem so against the Deming family? You are assuming that what the PPD has said is true, you accept that but are trying to cast doubt on a processional forensic pathologist? Maybe you should reserve your judgment until you have the facts. Imagine if this was you son, brother, friend...

If you are not ready to take the word of the toxicologist. then you should not be ready to take the word of the police department. You assume he has an agenda. Could it be the Pleasanton police have an agenda? It Appears to me that the pw is solidly in the corner of the pleasanton police department. Gina Writes a opinion piece complaining about inflammatory language and in the same article cites "BATH SALTS" as a possible explanation for why the toxicologist report did not find any drugs. Could it be he was Clean? Do you have any evidence bath salts were involved? Sounds inflammatory.
"We do not impugn the credibility of the forensic toxicologist or the accuracy of the report produced. However, there are drugs that are difficult to detect, including the new and popular club drug "bath salts." The toxicology report taken alone - without other information such if and where there were offensive and defensive wounds for example - can cause knee-jerk reactions and conclusions"

"We do not impugn the credibility of the forensic toxicologist."
It sounds like that is exactly what you are doing in your article.
Gina instead of talking to high school students maybe you should go to the police department and ask them one simple question.
How many officers were at the perimeter and where were they stationed?
Gina is not a long term resident of Pleasanton and in my opinion does not have the best interest of pleasanton at her core. She moved hear recently to start several media operations. I think it is more about the money then the best interest of Pleasanton. Thats my opinion.

Forty years ago,

I agree 100% with what you said and would like to add one more thing. If he was not on drugs and somewhere between 6 and 12 policemen were there and they could not subdue him without shooting him there is something wrong with the physical fitness level of the police. This whole thing stinks to high heavens. There is a big lie here and if this kid was black this whole town would be on fire.
