Attorney for teen shot in Pleasanton shreds the police response

Original post made by pleasanton was nice forty years ago, Castlewood, on Aug 27, 2015

The contra costa times has a story on the shooting at specialty sales. Don't expect the Pleasanton weekly to report on this. The attorneys make some interesting claims be nice to hear the other side... Oh yea they are not talking. hmmmmmmmmmmm

I know this has already been discussed in earlier threads but I'm just sad that something that started out as a non-lethal event escalated into a young man getting killed and a police officer nearly killed (if the police account is correct).
I know, I know, the young man should have complied with the police when ordered to do so, and the the cop who was fighting for his life had no choice.

It's just sad that it had to go that far. Too bad we as a society can't figure out a way to stop out of control people without killing them or harming others.

I love how the pathologist hired by the family is "independent". This guy is every ambulance chasers go to guy to dispute a coroners autopsy (which in this case is an entirely separate entity from the police department).

Stinkin ambulance chasers!!! Hang on long enough and the city will pay them off just to make everything go away, right or wrong we all end up paying for one persons mistake!

It will be interesting to see the autopsy results. Gunpowder residue, drugs etc.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
