Been there, did that when it first opened, nothing to see, no bargains to find, the place is a rip-off!! Who in their right mind takes a tour bus to outlets???? Stick with stoneridge mall and keep our dollars in Pleasanton

I have to agree with Map. When it first opened, went for a look, nothing outstanding really? Just more opportunities for wasteful spending, I just can't help but think where so much money could go to better use..Shop Stonebridge, just enough and keep it local...Tour busses full of lookie loos with no manners does nothing for me at all... And naming it San Francisco Outlets is just ego. Ugh

@Chris: "I have to agree with Map. When it first opened, went for a look, nothing outstanding really?"
I didn't even bother to go there after I looked up what stores were there on the web. There are over two dozen (!) shoe stores, a half dozen luggage stores, a dozen jewelry stores, and dozens of "designer fashion" stores. The vast majority of the stores fall into those four categories. So if you need shoes, luggage, jewelry, or 'designer fashion', you may want to go there. If you're shopping for anything else, give it a pass.
