After the Obamacare debacle, I don't want the federal government (Labor Dept) to use more taxpayer $ to build web sites or even to "create quality standards" for web sites. Clearly, they know nothing about quality web sites.

And the government thinks they can do a better job, at a better price, than the private sector on this? Maybe the DMV can take on this responsibility...

Swalwell is wasting his time and our money on non performing government programs. He could really make a name for himself and help his communities if he concentrated on topics of need. Help stop the useless Bullet Train project. Help stop the rape of Northern California water Rights and the Preservation of the Delta. The sad thing is that he has not done this as it takes bucking the system and that is not popular or conducive to career advancement. It is easier to pacify his constituents with these little used and ineffective government programs. HR 3280 just adds more expense to a already finanically over burdened government.

Agree this is a huge waste of taxpayer dollars. Why would an organization that is chalk full of nepotism, favoritism, and cronyism want to help you find a job?
When was the last time you saw a diverse workforce at the post office....for example.
Like all politicians, Eric Swalwell is there for the groundbreaking but nowhere to be found when things turn south during the implementation period.
USAJOBS.gov sucked. Why does Eric think this will be any different?

Just what we need, more government. Swalwell is a huge disappointment. Instead of wasting time on this nonsense, why not focus on what really matters like "Kate's Law". He voted with Pelosi on this instead of his own constituents mostly that support Kate's Law having lost one of our own and with legislation her family supports.
Rep. Swalwell, stop pandering to your party and instead listen to your constituents. We deserve representation. Don't forget that Pelosi's district will not decide your fate at the next election. We will and we are watching.
On a side note, I once dared to carefully and respectfully disagree with something he posted on his official facebook page, which I imagine is run by his taxpayer funded staff, and was promptly block from being able to post on his page. He doesn't work for all of us. If you don't agree with him, even when taxpayer resources are being used, he shuts you up. Not cool and not someone that truly cares what we all want from those we elect. And I actually voted for him.
