Pleasanton teen eliminated from 'American Idol'

Three weeks after her "American Idol" San Francisco audition, Pleasanton teen Maddy Hudson was cut Feb. 19 from the Fox TV singing competition after her House of Blues showcase performance.

I'm so happy to hear about all these exciting opportunities for Maddy! She was great in her audition and we were really routing for Her! Best of luck Maddy!

My husband and I were very impressed by your performance and excited to see a representative of Pleasanton! Great job! You are very talented and will go far in life. Follow your dreams! Congrats on the movie role!

Congratulations to Maddy. Remember Jennifer Hudson was not the American idol and look what she has done and

I saw Maddy performing in downtown Pleasanton. What a great talent, I hope she advances even further next season.
