Superintendent Ahmadi's Inappropriate Behavior

Original post made by lll, Birdland, on Nov 23, 2014

I was taken back by the blob posting of Tim Hunt that Superintendent Ahmadi was at the election party for Larson and Bowser during this last election. That seems highly inappropriate of her, unless she went to the other parties also but it appears that she did not. Somebody should ask her at the next school board meeting to verify.

The community elects board members and the board members hire/fire the superintendent of the school district. The superintendent should not be meddling around in the school board election. The superintendent should be a professional that welcomes and works for the pleasure of the school board that is elected by the residents of the community. She has publicly taken sides in this election and that puts her in the position of being a hostile employee. It would do the board well to censure her for these actions and indicate she has poisoned the well and will make it hard for her to work for this board. She should put her money where her mouth is and resign from the position of superintendent.

I am sure superintendent Ahmadi will provide an apology to the board for her poor judgement in attending the election party of her supporters Larson and Bowser. Ahmadi has a history of doing the right thing, like at the last board meeting. Ahmadi apologized to the two NAACP representatives for the rude question the Pleasanton Weekly reporter asked of them. It was nice to see Ahmadi’s support the NAACP commenters on that bad little apple of a reporter doing her job. I know the other public commenter at the meeting, Mary Snell will also receive her apologize for all the rudeness she has faced.

Rudeness- the first time I read your comment it confused me. The second time I broke into a fit of laughter.

NAACP assumes that anyone calling for the Sups dismissal must be racist. What position are they in to evaluate the competency of her work? Do they have children or experience in the district? Dr King once asked that we judge a person by their character and not the color of their skin. The NAACP should consider this guideline prior to backing the Sup. While I 'm sure hateful and inappropriate things have been said(and of course those are inappropriate) the NAACP did not focus on those. They instead took the position that she was doing a good job. I found it funny that a political activist was offended when a reported asked about their presence, isn't that what reporters do?

When asked to provide examples of what the sup was calling hate crimes, she was at a loss
