Change the way comments get censored!

Original post made by MakeChange , Apperson Ridge, on Aug 31, 2014

It is unfair that the PW removes so many of our thoughtful comments! When the PW sees anything pro-Obama they, as dedicated Tea Party Members, take down the post immediately. Cholo, a well known democratic commenter, consistently has his posts removed because he doesn't think like a crazy Tea Partier.

PW- you have some 'plainen to do! Stop taking away our right of free speech!

No, it is the opposite. First just take Cholo and his alter out of this discussion. You call him a 'crazy tea partier". I'll agree with half, and just say he is not a tea partier. He is a pest who says really stupid things most of the time, and destroys most really intelligent and relevant topics that should be discussed and should be deleted much more than he is. He has his own 'unique' issues that make him really illogical, most of the time.
I find the deletions depend on when you comment. During the week most things stay regardless. Thank you for this topic. I thought about starting a thread myself about Fri nite/Sat, weekend, holiday, vacation person, who is obviously a much too sensitive liberal, since my comments are mainstream. But my Jerry Brown comment, which was both factual and in good taste, was pulled once they came on duty this weekend, but stayed up during the 'regular', regular person was on duty.. I was thinking of complaining in a thread. The leftists, and tp are all prone to be over the top. But as taxpayers, we have a right to politely comment on gov brown's tax consequential rulings, without be censored/removed, as it was when this person came on duty. It's always easy to recognize. That is much too silencing and partisan, for Jefferson's 'Free Press'. But it has always been non-workday periods when it happens to me, but I am not an Obama fan. I don't normally comment on national candiates in Town Square, however.

Bloggers do not have the "right" to "free speech" on somebody else's website.
The Weekly is exercising their First Amendment right to free speech when the allow or disallow our posts.
You have the right as an American, protected by the First Amendment, to put anything you want on your own website and government cannot do anything to stop you...
