Can We Bring Back Cruising?

Original post made by 32 Ford, Birdland, on Jun 12, 2014

Can we bring back cruising to downtown pleasanton? Hot rods, customs, even the kids with there Jeeps and Trucks... Any car. Can we make it so that it isn't empty downtown at 8? What happened to the nightlife? Oh wait, its because the people here want their town to be perfect when perfect is actually incredibly boring.

"Boring" street traffic is actually kind of nice when you're trying to enjoy a good dinner at a downtown restaurant.

I like the quietness of Main Street, we do not need to brink back "cruising." I wouldn't want "hotrods" with loud mufflers and obnoxious "kids" with "jeeps and trucks" disturbing me while I dine at one of the nice restaurants downtown... Anyone who disagrees with me is a right winged rebel who seeks to destroy our peaceful community and our community's righteous values. "Perfect" is not "incredibly boring," but "perfect" is ideal.

Student, You disturb me when I'm walking on the sidewalk and your eating in a cheap ugly fenced off area that shouldn't even be allowed. Well that's what they told us when voting on the larger sidewalks. That would be fun to have a cruise once a month. Now it's just called the yuppie stroll. Every Friday and Saturday from 5-8

I don't believe that a scheduled stroll is appropriate...no no no!

I must dig deep and ask the question, is it the same thing as walking on water?

i rest my case...
