Pleasanton's RELAY FOR LIFE - has a great Entertainment lineup

Original post made by Ken mano, Willow West, on Jun 11, 2014

A ‘WOODSTOCK’ revival at Pleasanton’s ‘RELAY FOR LIFE’.
Held at Pleasanton’s Middle School from 9am July 19th to 9am July 20th, approximately 50 teams will be walking/running/skipping for 24 hours around the track raising money for the American Cancer Society.

There is MIND-BLOWING entertainment line-up; MUSIC LORE, JAMES NAGEL, HUMMINGBIRDZ, MICHAEL JAMES SYSTEM, SYNAPTIC GAP, and PUBLIC EYE.
We also have Shawn Hughes, our Elvis Impersonator, Hula dancing and lessons, the police department’s K-9 team, the Bay Area Ghost Busters, a Conga Line, and much more. It’s going to be crazy GREAT!!!!

Take a stroll round the track, purchase food or bring a blanket and your own picnic, buy raffle tickets to win fantastic prizes, and have your kids learn, play and be amazed at our KID’S CAMP, all the while helping to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

Be part of a team or be Captain of your own team. Come just for a few hours or stay all day. Heck, stay all night. Whatever you do, please stay to help us celebrate LUMINARIA, a time where we remember loved one’s lost and honor those who survived their battle against cancer. Purchase a luminaria to honor them.
