AP tests - Turnover of school site principals/VPs - Another PUSD fiasco

Original post made by Total incompetence, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Jun 1, 2014

I suspect that the turnover of almost all the site administrators (principals and vice principals) in the PUSD plus a DO (District Office) administration that has apparently no idea what it is doing has caused yet another fiasco.

The Advanced Placement test coordinator manual is online and available for anyone to read. It clearly explains how students need to be seated to take tests. It shows charts and examples and is about as detailed a manual as Web Link

It is unacceptable that the DO has shown its incompetence again. The board needs to demand some resignations.

Something like this never happens in the private sector because the incompetants get fired before they do to much damage. Here we see nothing but union cronyism and protectionism. A full investigation should be conducted to see the full extant of what the union involvement was.

Fired? You kidding? That would mean there is some accountability for performance. Doesn't happen in Government, especially Government schools. Just blame this problem on a lack of funding, global warming, or Bush.

Add to this the fiasco around the school calendar change, whereby parents haven't been adequately surveyed and the fact that they are moving ahead despite a nearly unanimous objection at last night's Board Meeting. I think we need a full reboot, Board included!
