Candidates Are Idiots

Original post made by Do Not Call Me, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on May 30, 2014

I fully understand that political phone calls are allowed by law. However, when my number is on the do not call list how receptive do these idiots think that I will be to their unwanted calls?

Robocalls need to be illegal. Just FYI all of you candidates, if you want to guarantee that I will NOT vote for you then just go ahead and make that phone call.

When you leave your garbage on my doorstep it is nothing more than litter. Bad enough that my mailbox is filled up every day with the flyers. Do not call me, do not email me and do not ever leave your trash on my doorstep.

I wish we weren't the only two that feel that way. Sadly, our request will probably go nowhere due to some Constitutional excuse of some kind.

Um, you provided your phone number when you registered to vote. If you didn't want calls, then why did you provide this optional information?

Political calls are exempt from do not call because you opted in when you provided your phone number, which makes it public information.

Re-register without your phone number.

The automated political calls are already illegal in California, but the dishonest politicians continue to use them (surprised? no). File a complaint with CPUC’s Consumer Affairs Branch.

By the way, 'fact checker' sounds like a politician.

Political calls are not exempt. The only exempt phone calls are found here Web Link and include police and fire emergencies.

File a complaint with the CPUC then let the State go after these slimeballs.
