Just look at the disgrace the VA bas become.

Things started to go bad with the phony PT Boat hero John (Daddy's Boy) Kennedy. Matters improved somewhat with Nixon and then Ford. Carter was appalling. Then Reagan's efforts would have saved the day until Clinton came into office. Now Obama has stolen both elections and Michelle Bachmann's predictions about Death Panels is coming to fruit. America needs to wake up fast.
The VA is indeed in deep do-do. Hopefully they will get their act together and provide services to American vets in need ASAP!
Our country doesn't need this DISGRACE. If they can't get it together fire all of them and start again.
VIVA AMERICA! VIVA!
But we have YET another issue that our President apparently learned about first from the press. Add it to the list. The problem was ongoing, the President knew it was ongoing, and what was done about it? What was done to fix it? What was the result?

“When a veteran is denied health care, we are all dishonored,” Obama said in October, 2007. “When 400,000 veterans are stuck on a waiting list for claims, we need a new sense of urgency in this country.”
Oops
Your right Jim. It isn't too hard to figure out. Veterans tend to vote Republican. What better way to thin out the Republican voting population than to form Democratic dominated death panels to knock off hundreds of thousands of veterans? I was thinking about voting Democratic in the next election, but with Benghazi and now the liquidation of perhaps millions of VA clients, my conscience demands I vote for Republicans. Its the moral thing to do.
BUT WAIT! It's important to include a President George Bush chapter to how the USA and its elected officials betrayed US Veterans:

Yes, Cholo, Cosmic Charlie has BUSTED you. Because having one's wealthy parents get you into the National Guard during the Vietnam Era was about the most patriotic thing you could do. Without the Guard, we'd have been overrun by Kent State communists and Berzerkely radicals.
THERE IS NEVER A WINNER IN A WAR:

Your comments are highly offensive and above all unpatriotic Cholo. I read them and I nearly chucked up the beef and soft-boiled eggs I ate for lunch. Let it be known, sir, that without our needed intervention in Iraq, we'd be defending ourselves against the Iraqi insanity at the Canadian border by now.
Has the VA stopped handing out medications to retired service personnel, cholo? Can you get your meds through obamacare?
In 2007, then President-elect Obama promised that under his administration, the VA would "ensure we honor the sacred trust to care for our nation’s veterans" and "Make the VA a leader of national health care reform"

One might automatically assume that veterans returning from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan placed a large burden on the system.
The stunning fact is that the VA budget has been exploding, even as the number of veterans steadily declines.
VA spending nearly tripled from 2000 to 2013, while the population of veterans declined by 4.3 million.

The Congress and the Obama Administration really have some explaining to do. First of all, why have they let our veterans down? Second, if they can not support the 21 million veterans with the VA, how do they expect the taxpayers to support government run healthcare for all?
Even one of the most extreme left wing commentators on the MSNBC network agrees that single payer health care systems can lead to shortages, waits, and mismanagement.
