Local Voice Teacher Celebrates Ten Years

Original post made by Mike Heffner, Dublin, on Feb 18, 2014

Local voice teacher and singer Sarah Sloan is celebrating her tenth year as a music educator in the Tri-valley area.
Ms. Sloan moved to Dublin from San Francisco in 2014, "To be part of a growing, flurishing community that is child centered and supportive of the arts."
Since then her students have gone on to San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Yale School of Music, Manhattan and New England Conservatories.
"I work with beginners of all ages," says Ms. Sloan. "Anyone can learn to sing. Dedication and passion usually trumps talent."
To mark her first decade in the area she will be hosting an alumni concert in April at Trinity Lutheran church in Pleasanton. For more info go to www.sarahsloan.net
