Road rage incidents can be very dangerous. It is quite simple to give the mid finger, shout obscenities or drive dangerously, but all of these can result in damage, injury or death.
It is difficult to remain calm when someone is being obnoxious or acting hostile, but it is better to remain calm and keep a good distance from them, then it is to raise your blood pressure or worse.

Regardless who started this incident, the person who shot, needs to be found, prosecuted and jailed.

My advice: IGNORE! Move on, drive safely, if possible, drive to the nearest police station.

Road rage can be deadly. Do not allow another individual to engage you in a no-win confrontation that could be lethal.

a very tragic story...

Tired of these hood rats and local punks all the time getting away with reckless driving and being punks. I am now thinking about carrying a gun to deal with these fools and gang bangers on the road. Many times, it is the aggressive drive who act up because he has a sense of entitlement and if someone isnt speeding then he has a problem. Step to me with my new gun and we shall see who wins.

Of course, it would be nice if everybody behind the wheel actually knew how to drive. Even just simple things like merging (not stopping, like stoneridge to santa rita for starters)...and on the freeway keep 'going with the flow/speed of traffic...don't be a roaddblock).
Obviously, raod rage is wrong. Just offering tips to some drivers who are not quite up to driving skills. Being too cautious/stopping or being a road block is not safe driving.
If you're new to CA freeways, stay on streets until you catch on....but move-through intrsections there too.

Stay out of the left lane unless you're passing (except rush hour).
