I don't have enough time to pay that much attention, but my understanding is that a bill has been passed to give all federal employees back pay for every day they have off. So we shut down the government and offer no services, yet it still costs us almost the same amount as if we were offering services. Way to go elected officials!

I am all for paying fed employees, I'm just not sure why we are having them not work and still paying them. What point does this prove?
