I fully agree with the idea of a ban on transit strikes. I am sorry I did not see Steve Glazer at BART this morning. I was there a little early at 6:25 AM.
Good Luck a week from Friday when the deadline is here.

It used to be that government workers were not allowed to strike. That was a very good policy. If you want to be on the taxpayer's dole, you should not be able to strike. The law change was made by union pimp Gov. Moonbeam Brown and union pimps in the state legislature. It's definitely time to put some serious heat on Moonbeam and the legislature to return to the was it was - when government workers could not strike.

A strike by BART workers will definitely push the voters towards a law that prevents transit unions from striking. So bring it on. Our government has proven that we need a crisis in order to make change. BART management went way further in negotiations that they should of while the unions did not negotiate at all. I hope the union does not give in so we can make these critical changes. Some pain now will fix the problems long-term.
Time for the unions for force the issue that transit strikes should be illegal.
With all the government mandates that requires us to put high-density housing in our cities and near public transportation, the government has indicated the public transportation is a vital service, like police and fire, and such the workers should not be able to shut-down the vital service.

The USA is a great country because citizens are allowed to disagree.
If anti-union citizens want to change the law, then there are ways.
Cholo is always here to help out and essplaaaaaain stuff...especially the law!
