WOW ! 16 weeks training !! I notice we don't hear about those 29 1/2 & 30 yr retirements as much in last couple years. ...guess they decided it best to quietly slip away.
Today in Safeway I saw 3 kid firemen, it crossed my mind, we don't hear about police and fire revolving door retirement replacements as much as we did a few years back,
I did read about the firemen's 'muster' to reminisce about the good old days when we were friends with our 'volunteer' crews. (back before you know what).

Congratulations to each one. You are very fortunate to work here in Pleasanton. It's a great community.
Best wishes

Without the police union, we could hire 15 more to the force at 1/2 the cost.
