Who are the teachers that have improved physics for 10th grade students from 68% proficient or advanced to 98% !! Statistically - that is a miracle!

I strongly encourage students to do their best on any test.
However, keep in mind that who you are and who you become is wonderful to experience!

Oh well. Let's give trophies to everyone, and feel creative. Let's spend more money to produce fewer people who can actually get a job in engineering, physics or chemistry. One of the many reasons why more jobs are being outsourced to India and China is that the people in India and China can actually do the jobs. But that's OK. We've all got our trophies, and we feel good about ourselves.

Correction on Chemist/Bartender's lame-brained comment: America's jobs are being outsourced to India and China not because Americans can't do the jobs; rather it is because many highly qualified Americans will not take a job that forces them to work 40 weeks and then have to plead for food stamps.

I hope you realize that a lot of Chinese and Indian families move to Pleasanton specifically for the good public schools.
Jobs are being outsourced to exploit cheap labor.

My child informed me that there are very few 10th graders that take physics. He knew of 1 in his class of 30+. He also informed me that this student also took physics at an after school tutoring center in town. I think that could account for the big jump in scores.
