The good people of Pleasanton were very generous in supporting the many activities of our local VFW and American Legion posts last weekend as we gave people passing by our Buddy Poppies. We have no administrative costs, all donations are used for local and veterans' programs. We had many opportunities to tell the younger generations to Google, "In Flanders Fields" and learn about the meaning of the Buddy Poppy.
