Pleasanton Councilwoman and mayoral candidate Cheryl Cook-Kallio will take questions live starting at 7 p.m. tonight on a telephone “Town Hall.”

Cook-Kallio is one of two candidates for the mayor’s post in the upcoming municipal election on Nov. 6. Her opponent is Councilman Jerry Thorne.

“I will take questions live on the phone,” Cook-Kallio said. “If you received a recorded call from me, all you have to do is be near your phone at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night. If you did not receive a call you may dial (888) 886-6603 Ext.20236# to participate.”

Callers will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Cook-Kallio said that access to that toll-free number will be limited to Pleasanton callers only to ensure that she can answer questions from as many callers as possible.

  1. Funny-she doesn’t take calls as a sitting city council person unless you give her a campaign contribution. Should she God forbid, win the mayoral race I bet she sets up a 1-900# to make her pay for play brand of politics even more streamlined.
