I am shocked! The School District wants to support raising our taxes so they get more money.

The Sacto (like Lockyer) write the very deceptive and misleading ballot statement to go along with the number appearing on our ballots. The key 'marketing words' always used are EDUCATION and matter the scam. But it ends up going into the 'black hole' called the General Fund. General Fund is for things like food and rental assistance for poor illegals and fouth generation welfare families, skilled nursing for foreign elderly, or 'affordable' housing for those poor $200K 'public union safety workers', and on and on. The current 'public' class (elected, public union, 'grant' users and perm abusers). These lifetime clowns in Sacto have all these 'constituencies' to 'take care of' or 'lure in'. Nothing is ever for our local 'taxpaying' families for anything, including education. Look at the 'First Five'con which has money piling up and it's just a secret party fund for 'appointees' to suck off.
Beware of BUZZ works used to con the ignorant. Fool you once, shame on them, fool you fifth, eighth time and over and over, shame on YOU ! Try voting smarter.

Since Laursen has such a dislike of the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act [IDEA] as she so often states (even in the Pleasanton Weekly last week --- Web Link ), this meeting should be very interesting.

It is very sad that a few elected officials have no problem spending massive amounts of money on GATE programs, but have such apparent contempt for special education.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
