Is San Ramon pulling away from the Tri-Valley alliance?

Original post made on Aug 15, 2012

The city near the center of the Tri-Valley is at the center of a debate about cooperation among the five cities that have worked together for years -- Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon and Danville.

I guess our new mayor is desperate to save duckets so he can help his developer friends. Things have changed dramatically and there is no way it's to benefit the typical San Ramon citizen.

Perhaps slappy can explain how paying half a million dollars to the CVB, when they never promoted San Ramon at all, was doing good things for the San Ramon citizens.
If you want to have a mayor in bed with developers you can have ours. Hosterman is termed out at last and planning to run for Pete Stark's seat when he gets out. Since she has less than a snowball's chance of getting supported for that, let alone winning, maybe you can offer her a job as mayor. She and her falcon can move right over to San Ramon and we can get our city back.

Since our new mayor here in San Ramon took office, we have seen the above changes occur, along with the loss of the yearly fireworks display, and the push through of the Norris Canyon Project, which was done in spite of resident opposition.

Resident, we don't need your mayor to move over to our town. We have issues of our own.

Lugnut, well said.
