But, we ALL know that the Tri-Valley schools should receive a slap on the back for job well done.

Dublin HS should not be ranked #12 in the nation. Stats are skewed. Student population listed as 496, in reality they have 1600 students. Only 39 students in 12th grade? Impossible. Student teacher ratio of 7:1 not accurate.
how come dublin school is ahead of foothill and amador?
Any chance this is Valley Continuation High School . . . the student numbers seem more likely.
The article says there's 26 kids in the senior class?! Web Link
That cannot be correct. We are talking about Dublin public high school, right, not Village private school? There's something very wrong with this story and the stats, although it's nice for Dublin residents to take pride in their schools and think they can outperform Pleasanton schools.
sorry, meant Valley Christian, not Village and certainly not DHS.
I would have to agree that the numbers seem to lead me to believe they are looking at Valley Christian High School.
US News made a mistake with another high school, according to its principal:

That school was ranked #13 but all the data was wrong.
After reading comments on PW, my original hypotheses have been proven correct. Rather that Pleasanton people say “right on Dublin!” you locals state "how come dublin school is ahead of foothill and amador?" Another writer states: "US News made a mistake with another high school,..."
Sad, P-Town. What’s wrong about giving others the high-five?
I usually sign off by saying "Cheers." Not tonight...
dublinmike,
US News made a mistake. The report was wrong. Didn't you get the memo? To compliment Dublin's school district for something they didn't accomplish would be an insult.
I would be happy to give a high five to anyone doing well.
But the data was wrong.
There are no sour grapes here.
Embarrassing for US News but the Truth is the Truth.
There is problem with the poll. They have dublin listed 12th in the nation based on stats that it has a 7:1 student to teacher ratio. This is not correct. They are more like 28:1. The same mistake was made with the school from henderson nv that came in 13th. They actually publicly announced that the stats USN&WR were erronious.
I went to Dublin High personally and I assure you the stats quoted are dead wrong. It's funny if there is high giving going on when former students like me know the truth and just laugh.
