Lock the the punks up for 6 months, give them plenty of bread and water let them sleep on a cement floor, they deserve nothing less.

More like 6 years, not 6 months! If they'll do this to police, these people are a danger to us all and should not be a part of civil society...

These scumbag kids are the consequence of living in an increasingly liberal society. (Thank You oh Chosen One Barack Obama!) Their parasite parents teach them that they're entitled to free education and that they're free to do whatever they want. Everything is relative. Striking a police officer is no different than going to church. They have no values. They don't know the difference between right and wrong. Compare these godless kids to the young people at Brigham Young who wear long underwear as part of their daily regimen. These kids belong to that class that loiters through life and then games the system for a free handout. They don't think before they act, just like their parents didn't think before having them. We should not be wasting taxpayer money on a trial for these scum. Just lock them up. 6 months? 6 years? I say 60 years, bread and water. Nothing less. It turns my stomach to think that my tax money has gone to giving these kids free education.

Yep, it's all Obama's fault. Just like I suspected.

@tough love...you have it ass backwards and all wrong. These kids are products of the republican party, the "let me hand my kid everything, new car, new phones, cash, so I can show everyone ive got it" . These are the parents whose kids walk around with the feeling of entitlement. Its the republican parents setting their kids up for a lifetime of handouts.

Yeah, all you have to do is look at the photographs of the pond scum that did this. Let me tell ya, they're not kids of Republicans that's for sure. Republicans are decent and respectful and they worship a true God. Not like the godless Democrat Party and their sudo leader who pushes his phony theology on all of us. Satan wants this country more than any other country, and it's time everyone woke up to this fact. Donald at California Reflections sounds like a Democrat union shil whose envious of Republican morality and needs to find the true God.

@Families First... perhaps you are right, but at least Donald spelled a lot fewer words incorrectly than you did.

@families first. Wow how righteous thou art. Of all of my sons friends (he is a hs senior) the ones that dont have jobs, are given everything (including a couple who have totaled 2 cars each and received brand new replacements each time), skip school, throw money around, get caught either participating in under age drinking or drug use, are all products of their REPUBLICAN parents. Guess what, ive seen some of their pics in the paper too. Of course the dads are busy working and golfing, the moms playing tennis and meeting for lunch, but neither have any idea what their kid is up to.

I love that - "republican morality." Maybe you should spend the next few hours or days reading more about the long, sordid history of morality from your beloved republicans. Read about all of the various crimes and lewd acts of congressmen; read about what your boy Newt did to get vilified and censured, let alone his questionable wife-dumping escapades; read about your moral buddy Rev. Ted Haggard. That one's a hoot!

Sure, there are similar breakdowns on the left too - they just don't run their whole platform on the falsehood of being more moral than everyone else.

Maybe they're neither republicans or democrats. Maybe they're just
a**holes!

Thank you, Carlos. Who are you people to make assumptions about the behavior of kids based on their parents' political party? You talk about how immature, scummy, stupid, and spoiled teenagers are but look at the way you're all acting. Obama didn't say "hey, kids, become vandals and disrespect police officers." Parents are the ones who have that kind of influence, not the president. And a criminal record doesn't stem from whether your a democrat or republican, it comes from the fact that you're a crappy parent. Obviously those with the accusing comments are the latter.

These kids need to learn that throwing giant rocks at people and attacking cops isn't gonna get them anywhere. It's wrong. I had a firework shot through my front window last week. I paid 600 bucks to get it replaced. Why would people do this???
