Big rig crash on I-580 yesterday sends vehicle onto BART tracks

BART trains were delayed Thursday afternoon because of a crash involving a big-rig and another vehicle on eastbound I-580 between Dublin and Pleasanton that sent one of the vehicles onto nearby BART tracks, authorities said.

Traffic was bad due to this accident. Took over 3 hours to get home.

I was on the freeway at this time. It was a very bad accident. I am glad that the yellow mazda person survived. It looked horrific. The car was on the rail on it's side totally flattened. Amazed there was only minor injury but thankful.
