International performance April 17 will benefit women's shelters

Priya Shankar, 23, a 2005 graduate of Foothill High, was in India last year as a Fulbright Scholar where she helped at a women's shelter. Now she is presenting a dance performance at Amador Theater April 17 to raise funds for the shelter, and for Tri-Valley Haven.
