Nice summary of the Sergeant Jason Ross story. What is totally unknown to the local public is the outstanding support that this Marine and his family have received from the first hours of notice of his terrible wounds--groups like the Pleasanton Military Families Support Group, Livermore Military Families Support Group, Blue Star Moms, Danville groups, the First Presbyterian Church of Livermore and then all the thoughts and prayers that have constantly continued to support Sergeant Ross's medical recovery process. Also to be commended is the United States Marine Corps and their total effort to help the Ross family through all the grief and sadness that they are dealing with thoughout this entire process. Also the maximum effort by the field hospital medical personnel in Afghanistan at first and then the U.S. Air Force flight and medical personnel who medically evacuated Sergeant Ross to Landsthul Medical Center in Germany and eventually on to Bethesda Naval Medical faciliyt in suburban Washington, D. C. It is so great to see all involved in this effort to make it a "Maximum Effort" for sure--God Bless Sergeant Jason Ross and his famiily and to those who have jumped in there without hesitation to help.

Our daily prayers are for Jason and the Ross family. As a mother of a US Marine, I understand what sacrifices these families give so that our country stays safe and strong. We are committed to assisting the Ross family in what ever capacity is needed.

Sgt Ross, you are one of America's heroes. We will always stand by you.
