Dublin and Tri-Valley commuters will be able to take advantage of the latest advances in efficient, affordable transit to reach the places they work and play on the new “Rapid” bus service that serves Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton. The service connects with the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station and shopping centers, all at the same low fare riders are currently paying. To celebrate the launch, riders may ride free until Feb. 4. I believe that the Rapid is free through February 11th.
Would someone ‘splain why a ‘Rapid’ bus was in Ruby Hill yesterday dropping off school children and displaying a “NOT IN SERVICE” sign over the windshield and at the rear. I wonder how they managed to divert the money for the rapid vehicles to regular services???
