Day 70 and Counting...

Original post made by Day70, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Jun 29, 2010

Where's your sense of urgency Mr. President to clean up this spill? You have hardly deployed any of the resources at your disposal to help with this catastrophe. Hundred of huge skimmer ships could be deployed for example. Thousands of unemployed could receive temporary jobs to help clean this up. Miles of booms could have been purchased and deployed.

Yet nothing.

(Oh...sorry. Yes, your urgency, when not on the golf course, is to fight against the American citizens in Arizona.)

Ten weeks late, and we're now going to allow foreign skimmers to help. The maritime unions must've finally given their approval to the White House. Way to go Obummer.

November's right around the corner - and I cannot wait to see the storm unleashed on this inept crowd in Washington.
