UPDATE: Missing Livermore hiker found after left overnight in Ohlone wilderness

A 70-year-old Livermore man who disappeared while hiking in an
East Bay park Wednesday has been found, a dispatcher with the East Bay Regional Park District said this morning.

This sounds odd. At what point would the man's friend have left him and why did it take until this morning to find the guy? Why not last night?
