Rambling Jerry Brown speech raises fear among Dems

Original post made on Feb 19, 2010

If Jerry Brown's keynote speech last night to a gala environmentalist dinner is any indication, the Democratic Party faces an uphill battle to win this year's governor's race.

So the Dems were "openly agast" at rambling Jerry Brown, aka Moonbeam. Do they think they're going to teach the old dog new tricks. He's going to have to overcome a long list of boo-boos...starting with his judge Rose Bird. But most 'in our face' this year are 2 biggies. 1) He gave CA PUBLIC employee UNIONS...which are destroying every school, city, county, plus the state of CA (1/2 the US states still don't have PUBLIC unions).. .. 2) The new Diablo Canyon nuclear plant was being build with 4 reactors, 2 fired up & have provided us (PG&E) 25% of our power faithfully for 30 yrs(otherwise would have suffered many blackouts). But Gov Moonbeam stopped the use of the other 2 us this 'DIRTY' environment...otherwise we could have had 50% of ALL-CLEAN power all this time....preventing whatever problem other moonbeams are trying to claim..He'll have to decide which side he's going to take...the CLEAN side or the DIRTY side ...pathetic !

Jerry Brown as Attorney General of California reacted to the undercover ACORN investigation, including a video of an ACORN employee saying that he had connections in Mexico who could assist a prospective pimp with illegal importation of underage girls for prostitution, by saying that he would investigate.
That is, he said he would investigate the legality of the undercover investiagation and taping!
An ACORN official was quoted on a subsequent ACORN internal conference call stating that he had consulted with Jerry Brown's office and that ACORN had nothing to worry about.

Jerry Brown has since then helped out his good Democrat supporting buddies in ACORN by rewording the California ballot for a new measure requiring voters to simply show photo ID when they show up to vote.
The Voter ID initiative was submitted with this wording:

“VOTER IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENT. INITIATIVE STATUTE. Requires that voters present one of four types of picture ID before voting.”

Jerry decided to play with that a little. His version:

LIMITS ON VOTING. INITIATIVE STATUTE. Prohibits citizens from voting at the polls, unless they present a government-issued photo identification card. Establishes provisional voting for citizens at the polls who fail to present government issued photo-identification card.

Dems have to ship in illegals to get enough ignorant voters. 4 pieces of the illegals at Amador could show their student ID card.

The PUBLIC UNIONS are buying ADS (intended to help Moonbeam Brown). He has committments from the public unions sitting on $$ 200 BBBillion, plus $$ 150 BBBillion from teacher's union. But the secret union ads are to trash Meg Whitman, because Jerry's terrified he can't beat her.....he'd love to have Poizner to run against. SO even with his access to Billion those ads are to say Whitman has too much money (tho NOT AS MUCH AS THE PUBLIC UNIONS)). They just want to help poizner become the nominee...easy to defeat.

Sad? Scary! Brown is the only prominent Democrat who appears to be planning to run. In California, his victory would be preordained, unless the GOP will run another moderate with name recognition like Ahhnuld.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
