I think this is a great idea. It will save money and time and cut down on producing more paper editions, it is also more on the "Green" side that many are trying to activate in their lives. Now all we need is an "Art & Entertainment" pull out in the Paper edition & Online, along the lines of the Independent in Livermore. I like that addition to their paper, very much (for those that don't know, I'm an Artist, Art Lover, Art Activist, Art Promoter ;)

Give it a thought Gina :)

There are two areas of reporting in the tri-valley area terribly lacking. One is daily issues involving police and fire, and follow-up. The other revolves around the inability of ANY of the three local news sources to report what and why no info on stories such as the east angela house fire. Whats new on the castlewood murders?

Additionally, tho this does not apply to Pleasanton Weekly, it stinks that the front page of the sports section of the tri-valley herald on saturday morning mostly reflects what happened in highschool sports anywhere else but the tri-valley.

At the end of the day (terribly overused but accurate cliche) someone is going to come along and provide information on what happens in our community on a daily basis (what were all those cop cars doing at tullys on friday night), and what is ongoing on with community issues (angela house fire). PLEASE PLEASE Arrive soon.

Here on the forum, and in the print news services, after you discount all the crap from the right and left, we are left really with no feel for what what is happening on a DAILY basis in Pleasanton (Dublin, Livermore, Danville, etc.)
