Four police and vehicles at Fairlands Elementary Sat

Original post made by Reader, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Nov 2, 2009

I was walking my dog through the green belt behind Fairlands El Saturday evening when I saw a group of police surrounding a large group (10) of youths (high school age) outside of the school. One kid was being searched and patted down. Anyone know what happened?

Just the Pleasanton Police doing their daily harassing of teens. Since alllllllllll teens are malicious criminals, you know.
It was Halloween, they probably found a bunch of CANDY on the kid.

Actually, there has been evidence of vandalism on campus, and attempts to start fires. Being on school grounds after hours is not allowed. I hope that those in the neighborhoods would call the police if they see people inside the gates especially.
