FED POST by Mark & Stacey

Original post made by m, Another Pleasanton neighborhood, on Oct 1, 2009

The post concerning FED by Mark with comments by Stacey was very, very good. At first it seemed daunting, but when I finally read it, I realized how comprehensive it was. You know, the more I think about it, how our money system works may be more important than the political entanglements we all dwell on. Anyway, I just feel that EVERYONE should read their posts. Enough said!!!

Would the "m" stand for Mark?

Nope ... I am a different person than Mark ... I thought it was good ... it's the true heart of politics.

I'm surprised no one talked about the FED's historic decision last year to buy over a trillion on mortgage backed securities and other "troubled assets" last year to increase the money supply. Normally the FED trade is US treasuries. Something seems really fishy.
