How Did This Not End Up In The Forum?

I was surprised at first, that with all the topics started about Obama, somehow this major news bite was ignored here at PW. Then I thought more about it and realized that the majority of the topics started about Obama are negative ones. Had Obama been the one to shout, "You lie", at a Republican this site would have gone down with everyone rushing to post it.

I think it's disgraceful that a "representative of the people" would demonstrate such a lack of control and respect. I expect better behavior from my teenagers. Sadly, this outburst is indicative of the mood of many conservative groups. And yes, I would have felt equally incensed had someone yelled, "You lie" at our previous president. I don't always like the president, but I respect the office. Senators, and other politicians need to serve as role models. If it's okay for a CONGRESSMAN to yell out at the president, how low does the bar go? Is it okay for regular citizens to spit, throw stuff, etc.? Where will it end?

Politicians behaving badly? We could start a reality TV show, we certainly have enough material to keep us in business for life! It is rather pathetic though to see our representatives regardless of political affiliation acting in such childish ways. To me what is more pathetic is seeing the people acting in the same way.
