How does a 5.4 mile tunnel only cost $136 million, when a 3 mile stretch from Bart to Oakland Airport is going to cost $550 million?

The money would be better spent on improving our roads since no one takes trains or busses.....

Great idea the BART station is being built right behind the NUMMI plant so they can not commute to plant which will not be running for 136 million bucks. real brilliant these guys are

When will the people of Livermore and their representative government sue BART and force them to build the line to Livermore...

We're told mass transit is critical to relieve traffic in the Tri-Valley/580-680 corridor yet BART seems to ignore mass transit to Livermore, as 580 continues to be a slow moving parking lot during commute hours...

A carefully planned "Livermore extention" could possibly attract many commuters from east of the Altamont who would park at a Livermore station/stations and ride the trains into Oakland/SF...

Hey, our esteened representatives in Washington are throwing money around as if there's no limit to the amount available. Why not a couple bucks for a worthy cause - the Livermore extention...

Why aren't our local congressional representatives "fighting for us", as they said they would do when ask for our vote...
