This article certainly shoots down all the lies about who the Americans are that are trying to save us from Obamas health care fraud. Blind Obedience to Authority is not healthy, whether it be Democrats or Republicans. Believing everything/anything the bought off media spews out is just as bad. WAKEUP people, we are being lied to every day, every hour every minute. Open your eyes, Wall Street is a fraud, the bankers are frauds, the stimulus scam is downright Racketeering and Congress and the White House are 99% Traitors. We are not near the bottom of a recession. We are at the beginning of a Depression like no other, period. Remember Bush kept saying that we were fine economically, and said "go shopping". He lied to us then and Obama is lying to us now. The Outstanding Public Debt as of 12 Aug 2009 at 07:21:45 AM GMT is: $11,667,357,728,169.46.The estimated population of the United States is 306,719,002
so each citizen's share of this debt is $38,039.24.
The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$3.89 billion per day since September 28, 2007! Where is Obama going to get the money for Obamacare? The country is bankrupt but were are told to believe that the economy is on it's way up, NOT.

We make nothing here in the USA, everything is made in China. Social Security is history. Whats left of our pensions will soon be history. All BY DESIGN. Do you think for one moment that the housing bubble was anything but planned? Guess what, the Federal Reserve Bank is NOT part of the government, period. The government has NO authority over the "FED". Can not adit their books, can not do anything. We were sold out many years ago and the filthy rich keep getting filthier and we get to pay for it all as our standard of living is headed down the toilet. I could go on about this for ever because there is no end to the scam that we are subjected to.

The USA is destined for third world poverty. Why do you think we have open borders when there are alledgedly so many "terrorist" wanting to to kill us. What a JOKE!!! The borders are open so as to spread the poverty to the USA while the government gains more controll by spreading FEAR. The real terrorist is the US Government. Everything I claim here is fact and the evidence that proves this exists. What happened to common sense?

ABC Reports: It’s Real People, REAL Mad

ABC News seemed to file a report that refutes the left wing mantra that all the outrage over Obamacare is fake, manufactured, or invented by a “Brooks Brothers rent-a-mob” with coverage of the local folks that confronted Blue Dog Democrat Frank Kratovil (D, Maryland) as he attempted to avoid a townhall meeting on his recess.

Kratovil employed the Democrat’s newest form of avoidance by trying to set up one-on-one meetings with his constituents instead of the regular townhall styled meeting and in that way avoid the confrontations that whip up crowds.

The Democrats are hoping that the less volatile way to meet the folks back home will paper over the outrage so widely felt by voters. They also realize that their members returning home won’t have to see as many of those voters with time consuming one-on-one sessions instead of larger townhall meetings.

It’s all just a sneaky Democratic trick to keep their members from being forced to deal with the voters.

The kinder gentler meeting did not work for Kratovil, though, as more and more angry residents showed up forcing him to meet them all at once and boy did they give him an earful.

Kratovil is one of those Blue Dogs that barely beat out a Republican last election and if this is an indication, many residents of Eastern Maryland are regretting having pulled the Democrat lever.

In any case, an interesting aspect of this report is that ABC didn’t find any “fake” protesters but found instead that all the angry attendees were actual voters that actually lived in the Congressman’s district.

There were no lobbyist-funded buses in the parking lot of Mardela Middle and High School on Tuesday evening, and the hundreds of Eastern Maryland residents who packed the school’s auditorium loudly refuted the notion that their anger over the Democrats’ health care reform plans is “manufactured.”

This is, of course, the facts on the ground at every townhall. There are no “manufactured protests.” It is real citizens that are real angry at Obama’s socialist policies.

There is no basis for this broad statement regarding every townhall and not even a direct link to the referenced report from ABC news to see the quote from the specific town hall meeting in context.

If you have some facts to share, by all means share them. If you have an opinion to share, please do it! However, please don't make grand statements, portrayed as facts, that conveniently align with your ideology but for which you have no data to back them up.

President of Some of the People

The Democrats introduced Barack Obama to the nation and the world at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He gave a keynote address in which he said “we are more than a collection of red states and blue states — we are the United States of America.”
With this line, Barack Obama sold himself to the Democratic base who were in a sort of political wasteland after a hard-fought election in 2000. He seemed like a true uniter, someone who could win the hearts and minds of Democrats, independents, and moderate Republicans. Since coming into office, however, he has proven that this image of Barack Obama the uniter and the post-partisan was an abject fraud. Over the past few months, he has shown a propensity to antagonize those with the effrontery to oppose his policies. Obama’s hostility has reached a boiling point over the past few weeks and finally culminated in his comments on Friday where he essentially told those who oppose his radical takeover of health care to shut their mouths.
His intent is clear: the real Barack Obama isn’t interested in being president of the United States; he wants to be president of an exclusive group of Americans made up of sycophants who parrot the party line.
Americans who normally minded their own business, lived their lives, went to work, raised their kids, and planned for retirement are dismayed at the details that are coming out of the enormously complex health care bills that are working their way through Congress. They’re learning that HR 3200 stipulates [1] that, after the first year that the new health care laws are enacted, their private health insurance companies won’t be allowed to enroll any new customers [1], yet they won’t be able to change any terms of its conditions [2] for their current customers.
The obvious effect of such a law is that it would put insurance companies out of business very quickly. Also, people are learning that companies that offer health insurance will be required to ensure that their plans match the government’s plan [3] within five years. They are learning that when they reach their sunset years they will be required to go their doctors for “end of life” counseling every five years [4]. Having been made aware of some of these little-known details, the American people are doing what they ought to as responsible members of a representative republic. They are contacting their elected representatives and telling them to vote against the nationalization of health care.
However, some elected representatives have not just been unresponsive to the concerns of their constituents; they’ve been downright hostile to them. The American people who elected these men and women to represent their interests in Washington are becoming increasingly frustrated. They are expressing that frustration at various town hall meetings with their representatives, yet these oft-insulated politicians simply don’t know what to do in response to their constituents’ outrage.
Instead of engaging them and listening to their concerns, they have responded by hiding from them, holding town halls over the telephone, or limiting the public’s access to their public meetings. Leading the charge against the people is their own president, who seems to have decided he does not want to to be the leader of all Americans, only his idolaters. Yet he demands those same Americans who are unworthy of his attention to pay for his agenda. This goes beyond the typical arrogance we have come to expect from this administration; it is taking the form of blatant contempt for the American people.
President Obama has resorted to Chicago-style brass knuckle politics of intimidation by declaring war on those who refuse to assimilate. First, he publicly smeared and insulted them like he did Sergeant Crowley by calling them “angry mobs” and their protests “manufactured.” At a political rally in Virginia last Friday, he referred to those who opposed his plans as the “folks who created the mess” and said that they shouldn’t “do a lot of talking [5].”
Then, in an act of blatant hypocrisy, he ordered up his own organized army of union members and Democrats to combat those citizens who were doing nothing more than legally expressing their views about the health care bills. Obama gave his troops their marching orders: “punch back twice as hard [6]” at their opponents. Presumably that language was meant to be metaphorical, but it is indicative of a hostility on the part of the White House toward fellow Americans that is wholly unacceptable and unbecoming in their chief executive.
It seems, though, that some of Obama’s supporters in Service Employees International Union (SEIU) took that order literally when they physically assaulted a peaceful protester in St. Louis [7] and put him in the hospital. What is especially disturbing is that the day after the attack, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius held a conference call [8] with members of SEIU. She called them [9] her “brothers and sisters,” praised their actions, and told them to “keep doing what you’re doing.” But perhaps Obama’s greatest indignity is his insidious snitch program that encourages his supporters to report their neighbors, family members, and friends when they publicly, whether through blog posts, emails, or in casual conversation, dare to dissent from the Obama party line on health care.
The president’s antics are an affront to the office and reduce him to nothing more than a bellicose, sleazy union boss who works only to advance the interests of his select members. And, sadly, just as Democratic-backed unions bankrupted Chrysler and GM, Obama and his union minions will, with their health care plan, end up bankrupting the nation.

I believe what you are seeing is that people are waking up and thinking on their own and this is the reason you are seeing all of the polling numbers dropping significantly and it will continue as long as so many are out of work. No jobs are being created and now the independents are being disinfranchised and moving away from the President. Soon and I mean very soon you will see him as being completely ineffective in getting anything meaningful done and it is so sad as he could have done so much good had he not tried and continued to try being so non-transparent and divisive.

You already started a topic with this opinion of someone else for Craigslist.

Come on Pedro, do you need a reading tutor? There a plenty Tutor’s and it doesn’t cost tax payers a dime. Don’t be too proud or ashamed.

To Homeowner,

To begin with, you can link to the site regarding the public debt below. Taken from that site: U.S. NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK
This debt clock is maintained by Ed Hall ( It was last calibrated using information obtained from the U.S. Department of the Treasury dated 11 August 2009. Population figures are derived from the U.S. Bureau of the Census' Population Clock.

I really don't think I need to post links for everything contained for the "make grand statements, portrayed as facts, that conveniently align with your ideology but for which you have no data to back them up."

For instance, exactly what kind of data do you need to be convinced that we have open borders? Are you not aware of all of the manufacturing jobs that have gone overseas and subsidized to do so by our government. Here is the title of an article that addresses that fact: Shipping Jobs Overseas: How the Tax Code Subsidizes Foreign Investment and How to Fix It
Copy & paste it to any search engine.

I think you can find the Federal Reserve Act on your own along with relevant info on that subject using some key words in your search, try Jekyll Island and Paul Warburg. That ought to wake you up. Are you not aware of the Social Security Ponzi and the crisis that will set in with the baby boomers retirements?

Do you not remember the Bush Administration claiming that all is well? Maybe you can't except that he lied to us. There is plenty of facts on the web about the income divide between the haves and havenots.

I have spent more time researching these issues than you could possibly imagine.I am not going to go back and find a link to every fact that I know due to my research.I ended my statement with "What happened to common sense?" Apply some common sense to what is going on in this world and you will see a different picture than whats portayed on TV. If you have a question about a particular issue I will be happy to respond.

Here is a link to a short video that explains some of the facts regarding the designed housing bubble. Every American needs to see this because you won't see this in the news. If and when you realize that the main stream media is loaded with misrepresentations, half truths, concealment and flat out lies, you will never view the news in the same way again, and you will feel an awakening that I can not describe.

Wake up folks. This isn't about partisan politics; we're all being scammed and lied to. Your home value has plummeted, your retirement savings and promise of social security are all but gone, lawyers and politicians have caused health care costs to go through the roof....what more proof do you need? Are you going to sit back and continue to argue that your politician of choice is our saviour and the other guy isn't? Do you really think a government health plan that members of Congress WILL NOT USE is going to be a good plan for you and your family? Fortunately many Americans are starting to raise their voices and call for an end to the out of control spending, increasing taxes, and govenment control of our lives.

Calling this whole thing Health Care is a misnomer. Remember Obama appointed FORMER Dem Senator Tom Dashle, who had written a book explaining how to switch to a government plan. His advice was to do it right away & so fast nobody had time to discuss. But days after his appointment, he had to withdraw because of too much he's not in there officially raming it thru. However he did start doing PUBLIC promotion last save it. All this smoke & mirrors is about how to insure the UNinsured...some because they are healty young, others because they are inner-city & do HOT HAVE jobs! But this is going to GREAT lengths to insure them. ...........IF it was about helping the 80% of us who have insurance & are happy with out medical serice, the few problems would be corrected. Problems such as tort reform, which Obama has no plans for correcting. The OBSCENE insur costs for doctors is a crime. But we have some who make a living suing, and we have stupid unrealistic juries who don't know the value of a dollar. We could have educated medical panels for malpractice costs & jury settlements. But the pres is dodging that issue....allowing people frivilous suits...... ALSO, the most important HEALTH care issue would be mandating insur to take PRE-EXISTING conditions. ..... The other issue simple for Pres or Congress would be mandating insurance PORTABILITY between employers.
Torts, Pre-existing, & portability and I think MOST Americans would be thrilled. THAT does NOT require messing with our care. Stop the deceit about the real reason.. Maxine Waters just said it again this eve on's about the inner-city UNinsured. Say that. Don't pretend it's FOR US ! The 3 items I mentioned ARE about us. Let's have a little straight talk.

ALSO, Congress & Pres should with a stroke of the pen, outlaw drug ads on TV. MADD had the NO BOOZE ADS on TV years ago. Why advertise to US.....WE CANNOT write our own prescriptions. It just encourages needless spending on the newest, most expensive drug the hypocondriacs & some seniors who just want to the 'free' Medicare' doctor & get prescriptions that WE pay for.
It'll be hard for Congress to say NO to the drug donors. But that would lower our 'US medical cost" ranking !!!!!
